Sitting in the dark corner of the car
Like this
Looking out the window
And staring at the city night lights
Rain pouring on the roof
Covering the windshield
I just can't help but reminisce
Relationships come and gone
And ask myself
If I deserve that which I
Emotionally treasure at the moment
The self-hatred comes back
It grips my soul
Like a straight jacket does to a mentally disturbed madjack
Kinda like when a snake wraps itself
Around its prey and suffocates it
Slowly crushing its bones
Before delivering the final blow
With its venomous fangs
I think I should stop looking out the friggin window.
